2013 Hyundai i30 Wagon

2013 Hyundai i30 Wagon - Front Angle

The i30 wagon’s overall length is increased by 185 mm to 4485 mm over its five-door sibling, making it one of the most accommodating vehicles in the European C-segment, and 10 mm longer than the original i30 wagon.

Compared with the five-door, the wagon expands trunk space from 378-litres to a best-in-class 528-litres – and with the rear passenger seats folded down, cargo volume increases more than three-fold, to 1,642-litres.
The New Generation i30 wagon will be available across Europe with the same three petrol direct injection engines and three diesel engines as the five-door, producing 95 to 135 ps.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Red COLOR

Both Genesis Coupe engines receive significant technology upgrades, backing up its new design statement with impressive performance gains. The 3.8-liter Lambda DOHC V6 engine adds sophisticated direct-injection technology, adding 42 horsepower (a generous 14 percent increase) and 29 lb.-ft of torque (an eleven percent increase). Peak horsepower rises to 348 at 6,400 RPM, with peak torque increasing to 295 lb.-ft. at 5,300 RPM on premium fuel. In addition, lambda-engine anti-knock technology gives this V6 the versatility to run on regular fuel. This new direct-injected engine will easily propel the Genesis Coupe from zero to 60 mph in the lower five-second range on its way to an impressive 149 mph electronically-limited top speed. The Lambda V6 intake system also now employs an intake sound induction pipe into the cabin to ensure this engine’s aural character matches its visceral appeal.

To further broaden the power band, the 3.8-liter engine uses Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (Dual CVVT) and a Variable Intake System (VIS) that helps cylinders breathe most efficiently at both low and high RPM. The combination of high-pressure, precisely-metered direct injection with efficient cylinder breathing results in outstanding throttle response and off-the-line acceleration coupled with remarkable fuel efficiency. The V6 engine uses an alloy block and cylinder heads for lighter weight and thermal efficiency and features durable, quiet timing chains with no scheduled maintenance. All these technologies serve to give Genesis Coupe 3.8 an impressive power-to-weight ratio of only 10.0:1

While all Genesis Coupe models offer a true rear-drive sport driving experience, the high-performance Genesis Coupe R-Spec and Track models raise the bar even higher with differentiated, track-tuned suspension calibrations. The R-Spec/Track suspension features both firmer front spring rates (seven percent) and rear spring rates (eleven percent), with matched damper rates. The Genesis Coupe R-Spec/Track models also deliver a significant increase in roll control over other versions of the Genesis Coupe via thicker stabilizer bars (24mm front/20mm rear). For 2013, all Genesis Coupes receive improved low-velocity-control dampers for refined ride comfort coupled with improved body control.

2012 Hyundai i30 Blue COlor

Hyundai expects the new-generation i30 to build on the remarkable success of the original model, the original Hyundai i30 was also the first model to be designed and engineered in Europe, the first to be produced at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic, and the first Hyundai car to receive five stars from Euro NCAP.

Designed and engineered at the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the new-generation Hyundai i30 represents a further evolution of the unique Hyundai form language, ‘fluidic sculpture’, displaying the company’s distinctive design DNA.

At the launch, the Hyundai i30 will be available with two petrol engines (1.4i 16v 100 CV and 1.6 GDi 140 CV) and two diesel (1.4 CRDi 90 CV and 1.6 CRDi 126 CV). We’ll have more details, specifications and trim level will be revealed next week at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

2012 Hyundai i40 Tourer

The Hyundai i40 Tourer is available in three main trim levels (Active, Style and Premium) with the choice of three efficient engines, four power outputs and manual or automatic transmission. Hyundai’s Blue Drive technologies are fitted as standard on all Active derivatives, and on the Style 1.7 CRDi 136PS Blue Drive model ensuring CO2 emissions of 119 g/km and without compromising on performance.

The all-new Hyundai i40 Tourer will be available with a choice of very competitive Euro V-compliant engines: two petrol units and one diesel with two outputs. These power units cover a 115 to 177PS output spread. Manual and automatic transmissions will also be offered.

In a segment where diesel models represent 77% of total sales, Hyundai is anticipating that the ‘high-power’ version of the 1.7-litre diesel unit developing 136PS will be the most popular engine among both private and fleet buyers. This engine’s high torque output (325 Nm from just 2,000 rpm) will ensure a responsive drive with acceleration to 62mph in just 10.6 seconds for the manual model and a brisk 12.0 seconds with automatic.

The petrol engine is Hyundai’s all new four-cylinder 2.0-litre GDI engine, called ‘Nu’. This all-aluminum engine makes its debut in the i40, promising to deliver higher torque (for enhanced drivability), improved fuel economy and reduced emissions, plus undiminished durability and excellent NVH characteristics – similar to a multi-point fuel injected engine.

Equipped with GDI (gasoline direct injection) this 1999 cc unit generates 177PS which ensures that the i40 Tourer boasts best-in-class fuel economy. An i40 with this engine and a manual gearbox will accelerate to 62mph in just 9.7 seconds registering fuel economy figures of 39.2mpg (combined cycle) and achieve a CO2 rating of just 169 g/km.

The 1.6-litre petrol engine offers a well-proven 16-valve Gamma unit. It generates 135PS and accelerates from 0-62mph in 11.6 seconds. To maximize fuel economy, reduce CO2 emissions and enhance refinement, every Hyundai i40 Tourer will come equipped with a six-speed transmission.
