2012 MTM Volkswagen T 500 Yellow Black COLOR

2012 MTM Volkswagen T 500 - Front Angle

The MTM Volkswagen T 500 2.5 TFSI 4motion, which an unsuspecting observer might mistake at first glance for a VW T5. But don’t be fooled. It wouldn’t be an MTM creation if it didn’t have power to spare; and besides, the motor vehicle registration certificate identifies MTM as the responsible automobile manufacturer.

Which is also the maxim for the MTM T 500 2.5 TFSI 4motion. It is driven by an in-line five-cylinder, an indestructible performer with a character that may no longer play a leading role in the serial production planning at Volkswagen, but which has nevertheless succeeded in building a huge fan community. And they will prick up their ears when the T 500 roars off into the distance with 472 HP at 6,900 rpm. At 4,100 rpm, the unit racks up a torque of 625 Nm, and if the transmission hadn’t also been modified for such force with MTM know-how, the enormous bang would hardly allow it to make it to the asphalt. Secured to such an extent, the fierce propulsion first ends at 280 km/h. Even the briskest T5 with serial power stays within a civil speed range, at about 200 km/h. The control exercised against so much power is guaranteed by large disc brakes, firmly gripped by two 6-piston fixed callipers at the front axle. Mounted on the 9×20 inch MTM Bimoto rims, are 275/35 ZR 20 Michelin SuperSport. Certainly not for the faint-hearted, but in the face of a muscleman, the category “comfort” seems to hold what it promises – with a KW Street Comfort coilover suspension, with a sensible as well as helpful touch from MTM. All in all, the MTM Volkswagen T 500 ensemble totals just under 160,000 Euro.

2012 ABT Volkswagen Up White COLOR

2012 ABT Volkswagen Up - Front Angle

The Abt Volkswagen Up is speedy, precise and will fight for parking space without remorse, but who would mind? His smile comes naturally, the bright red headlight masks make it appear stronger and smarter. The carbon-look deco set with its red stripes across the entire surface is a mix of retro and modern age. ABT Sportsline draws upon the extravagant designs of the Swinging Sixties with which the power versions of plain mass-consumption cars showed that being sensible can also be cool.

Window frames and side skirts are the “common thread” leading straight to the strong back of the ABT up!, where rear masks, an exhaust pipe tunnel and the sporty double exhaust pipe form a unit. The ABT up! will be much admired when thanks to new suspension springs it takes bends in a much more sporty fashion now. It is the love for details that forms its bond with its “elder” brothers. Mirror caps or red hub covers bearing the ABT-Logo make the up! stand out. No wonder, since this car wants to get “up” there.

2012 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack Red COLOR

2012 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack - Front Angle
The Volkswagen Passat Alltrack is offered in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (4MOTION). However, in both cases the vehicle is designed to tow large trailer loads and drive through extremely rough terrain. That is why torque-strong turbocharged engines are used exclusively in the latest Volkswagen – two petrol (TSI) and two diesel (TDI) engines. The maximum torque of the efficient four-cylinder engines lies in the range of 250 to 350 Newton metres. None of the four engines requires more than 1,750 rpm to achieve its maximum torque, making it ideal for all driving situations.

140 to 210 PS. The two petrol engines of the Volkswagen produce 118 kW / 160 PS (1.8 litre displacement) and 155 kW / 210 PS (2.0 litre displacement); the two turbodiesels, each with 2.0 litre displacement, produce 103 kW / 140 PS and 125 kW / 170 PS. Both TDIs are delivered as BlueMotion Technology versions (BMT) as standard – i.e. with Stop/Start system and battery regeneration mode for recovering braking energy. The models with a petrol engine also have a battery regeneration mode.

2013 Volkswagen Passat CC Black COLOR

2013 Volkswagen Passat CC - Front Angle

The new Volkswagen CC will be revealed to the public in a world premiere at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show (November 18 to 27). The market launch phase begins shortly thereafter. Volkswagen will first offer the new CC in Germany in February 2012, then in stages across Europe, America, Russia, China (local version starting in 2013) and all other sales regions relevant to this vehicle class.

2013 Volkswagen Passat CC - Interior

With new front and rear styling, the new perfected Volkswagen CC makes an even bolder move towards the automotive luxury class. Its extended range of standard features has become more exclusive as well; they now include new bi-xenon headlights, static cornering lights and a new LED tail light design. Also standard: fatigue detection, RCD 310 radio-CD system, stainless steel door sill plates and safety head restraints with additional longitudinal adjustment (front seats).

The Volkswagen CC will be powered by innovative petrol and diesel direct-injection engines; all of the diesels (TDI) are equipped with a Stop/Start system and battery regeneration mode (for recovering braking energy) as standard. All petrol engines also have battery regeneration functionality. The TDI engines output 103 kW / 140 PS and 125 kW / 170 PS. The petrol engines of the European CC versions develop a sporty 118 kW / 160 PS, 155 kW / 210 PS and 220 kW / 300 PS of power. In the USA, the Volkswagen will once again launch with petrol engines that output 147 kW / 200 PS (TSI) and 206 kW / 280 PS (FSI). All engines go to work with excellent efficiency. A prime example is the 140 PS TDI. Together with a manual six-speed gearbox, its combined fuel consumption is just 4.7 l/100 km (equivalent to 125 g/km CO2).

2011 Volkswagen Amarok

The Amarok pickup from Volkswagen begins its international career as a Double Cab with a four-door body that offers impressive space. The two-door Single Cab version that permits a longer truck bed will follow in the first half of 2011. Volkswagen Amarok customers can choose from three different driveline versions: permanent all-wheel drive, selectable four-wheel drive (both 4MOTION) and rear-wheel drive (4×2). The latter represents the entry-level version and should appeal to customers who are mainly interested in the pickup’s body styling and versatility of its use. The two all-wheel versions are right at home in all terrains.

The VW Amarok 4MOTION with selectable four-wheel drive and a red “4″ in the signature is the ideal choice for journeys over hill and dale. It utilizes a rigid lock for its four-wheel drive, a feature that is practice-proven in the pickup segment. When it is engaged at the press of a button, it produces solid power transfer to the axles. For the most difficult jobs, there is also reduced off-road gearing that makes complicated off-road passages easy to master. Even 100 percent inclines with a slope angle of 45 degrees at full payload are no obstacle. At the same time, the progressively tuned Heavy Duty spring package with three main and two auxiliary spring packs assures a high overload safety factor and uniform comfort in all load situations.

On the powertrain side, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is introducing a sparkling technological achievement right at the VW Amarok’s market launch: With 120 kW / 163 PS in power and 2.0 litre displacement, the TDI features common rail direct injection with two-stage control bi-turbo charging and generates a maximum torque of 400 Newton-meter at a low 1,500 rpm. This superior performance contrasts with a remarkably low combined fuel consumption of just 7.6 litres diesel per 100 kilometres (Amarok 4×2).

The second engine variant, following in mid-2010, is another TDI four cylinder with 90 kW / 122 PS. Its technology includes a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry. The “small” TDI already develops an impressive torque of 340 Newton-meter from 2,000 rpm. This TDI consumes just 7.5 l/100 km. And so, both TDIs break the 200 g/km CO2 emissions limit that was considered a barrier in this class. Refueling becomes a side issue with the Volkswagen Amarok with ranges of more than 1,000 kilometres, enabled by their low combined fuel consumptions. The turbo-diesel direct-injection engines also fulfil the Euro-5 emissions standard. The pickup comes with a standard six speed transmission.

The Volkswagen Amarok is being launched on the market in three equipment lines. The base version relies on purely mechanical and extremely tough components: window lifts, door locking mechanisms and mirror adjustment are all manual. The front bumper, door handles and mirrors are unpainted, and this makes them ideal for heavy duty use. Other standard features: height-adjustable front seats, variable folding rear bench seat, locking glove box and truck bed lighting. A special feature: the radio and navigation system antennas are integrated in the door mirrors.

One grade higher in convenience features is the Volkswagen Amarok Trendline. On this version, the front bumper, door handles and mirror housings are painted in body colour. Window lifts, door locks and mirror adjusters are all electrically powered. In addition, a radio with CD player, semi-automatic climate control system (Climatic), multi-functional display, cruise control system and front fog lights are all standard equipment. 16-inch alloy wheels emphasize the truck’s strong image.

The VW Amarok Highline offers exclusive features. Building on the Trendline equipment line, the Highline has upgrades such as part-chrome mirror housings, various chrome accents outside and inside the vehicle and fender flares in body colour that create space for 17-inch alloy wheels. In addition, the top equipment line is characterized by a colour contrasting instrument panel (depending on vehicle configuration), an automatic climate control system (Climatronic) that offers exceptional comfort, a higher performance sound system and classy fabric seat covers.

2012 Volkswagen Up! Red, Black and White Color

2012 Volkswagen Up! - Front Angle
With its noted 3.54 metre length and 1.64 metre width, the Volkswagen up! is one of the smallest four-seat cars. The Volkswagen is 1.48 metres tall. Its overall length consists of conspicuously short body overhangs and a very long wheelbase (2.42 metres) – a body layout that fully utilises the space available in the new design.

2012 Volkswagen Up! - Rear Angle
Debuting in the Volkswagen up! is a new generation of three-cylinder petrol engines. They output 44 kW / 60 PS and 55 kW / 75 PS. Combined fuel consumption as a BlueMotion Technology version (including a Stop/Start system): 4.2 l/100 km (60 PS) and 4.3 l/100 km (75 PS). Both of these 1.0-litre engines emit less than the 100 g/km CO2 limit. A natural gas engine with 50 kW / 68 PS with the same basic configuration will follow. Its combined fuel consumption of 3.2 kg/100 km (natural gas) is equivalent to a CO2 value of 86 g/km; as a BlueMotion Technology version the natural-gas powered up! even attains a low CO2 value of 79 g/km. There are also definite plans for an up! with an electric drive for the year 2013.

An important new safety technology system is the optional City Emergency Braking. It is automatically active at speeds under 30 km/h, and it uses a laser sensor to detect the risk of an imminent collision. Depending on the vehicle’s speed and the driving situation, City Emergency Braking can reduce accident severity by initiating automatic brake interventions – and possibly even avoid a crash. So far, the VW up! is the only vehicle in the segment to be offered with an emergency braking function for city driving.

The up! will first be launched in the European market. It all starts in December 2011. There are 3 versions for different budgets and needs: take up! is the entry-level car, move up! the comfort-oriented one and high up! the top version. Directly at the car’s market launch, there will also be 2 independent models based on the high up!: the up! black and the up! white.
